Fair trade before it was fashionable; ethics are the foundation of our story. Our suppliers and communities mean the world to us and we consider them partners and friends. In the early days of Myakka, our children played with their children, and we stayed in their homes when we visited. We’ve grown now, and so have all the children, but this personal touch is still part of everything we do.

Our beautifully handcrafted, sustainably sourced furniture & home decor are built to love and last. High quality, kiln dried woods, traditionally hand loomed rugs. Individual pieces to be passed down, crafted with care by the artisans who created them.

Like the story of your home, the Myakka story is one we will never stop writing and in 2019, our path moved in a different direction. Our friends over at Ian Snow took over the running of the Myakka site and product range - maintaining the same suppliers, and same strong ethics. Myakka is now part of the Ian Snow family, and also became a B-CORP in June 2022.
